Sarder TV Video Editor (Off-Site)


Sarder TV is looking for off-site video editor with strong skills in Adobe CS 5/6 - Premiere Pro, After Effects, photoshop etc. to support in-house video productions.

The function of this role will be to serve as a video editor for all videos of Sarder TV and Sarder Learning.



    • Editing various types of Sarder TV and Sarder Learning videos including multi-camera, screen-capture etc.
    • Maintain and improve post-production workflow and create knowledge-transfer content for new hires.
    • Create required graphic elements including motion graphics design and animation.
    • Mix and mastering audio for final output.
    • Encode final videos in various formats, lengths and sizes including repurposing video content into multiple digital formats.
    • Offload or ingest all media into appropriate storage locations and verify media transferred successfully.
    • Archive and manage files and storages according to the producer's direction.
    • Manage project assets (footage, graphics, and audio).
    • Problem-solve in all aspects of post-production, including technical and content issues.
    • Remain current with video industry best practices for all aspects of post-production and suggest important process or technology adoptions.
    • Support strategic initiatives that improve aesthetic, infrastructure or efficiencies.
    • Management and coordination of internal video requests.


    • Bachelor's degree in video production or a related field.
    • 2+ years' experience as an editor.
    • Demo Reels as editor.
    • Knowledge of post-production workflows including DSLR and 4k video .
    • Strong knowledge of Adobe CS 5/6 Production Premium software, including After Effects, Photoshop and Premiere, Media Encoder.
    • FCP 7 & FCP X, Camtasia, Adobe captivate knowledge a plus.
    • Strong working knowledge of media management & video encoding.
    • Strong eye for design/graphic principles and sensibility.
    • Strong understanding of color correction for video, and properly read and utilize video scopes.
    • Knowledge of all aspects of video production.
    • Ability to efficiently work both independently while supporting a team environment.
    • Act decisively under pressure, and ability to trouble shoot and plan for difficulties & problems.
    • Ability to maximize resources and time.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products such as Word, and Excel.
    • Knowledge of business and organizational knowledge & terminology is preferred but not required.
